May 2009 The Captain will be serving soon!

The Reclamation By Design team has been putting its finishing touches on the newest addition to the Promenade family. Ron Strimpfel, director of building, has created several unique enhancements for Captain Woody's fans, everyone who comes to enjoy the food will also enjoy the many exclusive findings this "baby" now houses. From a turn of the century Philadelphia fire house door stably encased by 200 year old Savannah Grey brick, reclaimed from the old Savannah Feed and Seed building that RBD demo'd earlier this year, to antique metal ceiling tiles and crown modeling reclaimed from a church in Kentucky; History just surrounds this soon to be Blufftonian landmark. Bead board wainscoting reclaimed from an old school house in Georgia can be found through out the downstairs dining area and loo's, the bar tops you'll frequent were reclaimed out of an old Georgia barn, even the thick rope lining the outdoor patio is a reclaimed treasure given to us by one of Bluffton's own May River sailing natives. It will feel like home the first time you sit down!
